It looks like we’re about to receive a number of new Royal Enfield models over the course of the year. The company earlier revealed an aggressive launch strategy of a new product every quarter, and three of those models have been spied testing. These include two different 650cc cruisers and the updated Classic 350. A fourth bike is seen as well, and it appears to be the Royal Enfield Meteor.

Upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc cruisers

Like we mentioned above, two iterations of a 650cc cruiser have been spotted. One of them features a long, low stance with a feet-forward riding position, while the other offers more traditional ergonomics.

The former features a fatter rear tyre than the 130-section unit on the 650 twins. There’s definitely inspiration taken from the Royal Enfield Concept KX shown at EICMA 2018. Unlike the KX, with its slim fuel tank, this bike’s bigger teardrop-shaped tank is reminiscent of some Harley-Davidsons, while the large rear fender brings the Indian Scout to mind. The test bike’s dual exhaust pipes are also slimmer and much closer to the bike than those on the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

Both bikes will likely be powered by the same engine as the one on the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 test mule

Contrary to what’s been said on the internet, the 350cc single that’s seen testing is very likely the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The bike looks identical to the Meteor and it’s not uncommon for a manufacturer to continue testing a product post its launch.

New Royal Enfield models launch

All the models seen testing appear in the final stages of development, and so it’s hard to say exactly when and in what order Royal Enfield will unveil these motorcycles. However, considering their near-production-ready forms, it's safe to say that some, if not all, of these motorcycles will all be available in our market by the end of the year.
