TVS is all set to launch the new Apache RR 310 BS6 on January 30, 2020. The updated model will conform to the upcoming Bharat Stage 6 emission norms. TVS’ flagship motorcycle is also expected to get additional features, as we’d seen in a recent spy shot.
Said image revealed the BS6 Apache RR 310 sporting a new dual-tone paint scheme and new graphics. But the most significant update was seen in the form of the bike's new TFT instrument cluster that may possibly feature Bluetooth connectivity – much like the SmartXonnect system seen on the new Apache RTR 200 4V.
The current Apache RR 310 is powered by a 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor that produces 34hp and 27.3Nm of torque. Considering that the recently launched Apache RTRs came with a slight dip in output figures with the switch to BS6, we could expect a drop in the Apache RR 310’s performance as well. The issue with vibrations – which was taken care of, to quite an extent, with the RR 310's last update a few months ago, could also see further improvement in the BS6-compliant model.
We are set to ride the updated Apache RR 310 soon, and our review for the bike will be up on February 1, 2020. Watch this space for more.
