TVS Motor launched the Apache RR 310 in December 2017 at an introductory price of Rs 2.05 lakh. The bike maker, however, hadn't revealed a timeline until when this introductory pricing would be applicable. While looking at the company's official website, we found out that TVS has silently hiked the price of the Apache RR310 by Rs 8,000 and it now retails at Rs 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

The increment of Rs 8,000 is quite steep in our opinion, as we were expecting it to be under Rs 5,000. In many states, where the RR is priced at an even higher Rs 2.23 lakh, the difference to the KTM is narrower still. Surprisingly, the Apache RR 310 still carries a sticker price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in Kerala. The other states, along with Maharashtra, where the Apache RR 310 will be sold for Rs 2.13 lakh are Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Pondicherry.

The flagship TVS motorcycle will cost Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom) in Assam, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Orissa Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

The Apache RR 310 is the most expensive motorcycle in TVS’ portfolio and is based on the BMW G 310 R, which is manufactured by TVS Motor at its Hosur facility. Powering the motorcycle is a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 34hp at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm. TVS claims that the Apache RR 310 can complete the 0-60kph sprint in 2.93sec and has a top speed of 160kph.
