TVS has shared teasers of an update to its popular Jupiter 110 scooter, and this one will likely be more than just a nip-and-tuck job. The Jupiter 110 is India’s second best-selling scooter after the indomitable Honda Activa and has been on sale in largely the same form for the last 11 years.
- Updated Jupiter 110 will likely get new styling
- Features could be upgraded, too
- Currently priced between Rs 73,650 and Rs 90,573
TVS Jupiter 110 update, launch details
The TVS Jupiter 110 has largely stayed the same since it entered the Indian market in 2013, with minor changes to the style and to meet emission standards. This update, however, appears comprehensive, with the teaser showing a large curved LED daytime running lamp (DRL) on what seems to be the scooter’s front apron. The DRL also appears to have the turn signals integrated into it. Whether the main headlight unit sits close to it or on the handlebar remains to be ascertained.

Another teaser on TVS’ social media handles distinctly shows two helmets and the words ‘longest seat’, which means that it could potentially get the cavernous 33-litre boot from its elder sibling, the Jupiter 125. In the same teaser, we can also see the symbol for a Bluetooth-compatible display and the words ‘front fuel’, which again bolsters the fact that some of the Jupiter 125’s features will trickle down to the 110.

The Jupiter 110 is already quite a feature-rich scooter; TVS could further up the ante with this update. The styling, too, is expected to be revised. The current TVS Jupiter 110 is powered by an air-cooled, 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine making 7.9hp and 8.8Nm of torque. Weight ranges from 104kg-109kg, depending on the variant, and prices start at Rs 73,650 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
