Vida V1 electric scooter launch in Maharashtra

Unlike the enormous number of showrooms and service centres that Hero MotoCorp has across the country, Vida has a miniscule amount of touch points that are restricted to only a few major metro cities. Now, with Vida making inroads into quite a few Tier-I and Tier-II cities, its dealership base will more than double across the country. The Vida V1 e-scooter can be reserved in Calicut, Cochin, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur and Nashik for a token amount of Rs 499.

Vida V1 electric scooter range price, specs and rivals

The Vida V1 e-scooter is available in two trims – Plus and Pro – with the primary difference being the battery capacity, and thus, the range numbers. The V1 Plus gets a 3.44kWh battery that delivers a claimed IDC range of 143km, while the V1 Pro gets a larger 3.94kWh battery, translating to a higher claimed range figure of 165km. Both variants get the same electric motor, rated for a claimed peak power output of 6kW and claimed top speed of 80kph.

The Vida V1 Plus is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh, while the V1 Pro commands Rs 1.59 lakh. This pricing makes the Vida V1 duo one of the more pricey offerings in today’s electric scooter market. To see how all the major Indian e-scooters stack up against each other on paper, click here
