The MotoGP edition of the Yamaha YZF-R15M V4 is no longer listed for sale on the manufacturer’s website. The special edition of Yamaha’s super sport motorcycle featured a livery inspired by its YZR-M1 MotoGP race bike.

R15 World GP 60th Anniversary Edition introduced recently
The limited-run R15M MotoGP Edition was launched at Rs 1.79 lakh in September last year, which was Rs 2,000 more than the standard R 15M. The special edition was a cosmetic job only and was finished in a black and blue colour scheme with Monster Energy and Eneos logos to replicate the livery of Yamaha’s YZR-M1 MotoGP race bike.
Mechanically, the MotoGP Edition was identical to the standard R15 V4, which is powered by a 155cc, four-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.4hp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.
While the MotoGP Edition is no longer on sale, Yamaha recently introduced another special edition of the R15M, dubbed the World GP 60th Anniversary Edition. The special edition of the super sport motorcycle is finished in Yamaha’s iconic white and red ‘speed block’ colour scheme with gold alloys and front fork tubes. It also features a special badge on the fuel tank and black levers. The R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition costs Rs 1.88 lakh, which is just Rs 1,000 more than the standard R15M, which recently saw a price hike.
