Gogoro-Zomato partnership in India: details
Zomato has set a target for itself to have 100 percent EV-based deliveries by 2023 and its partnership with Gogoro will be a crucial first step in moving toward it. To further help Zomato’s delivery agents, Kotak Mahindra Prime Limited will provide loans on very amenable terms to the delivery agents for the aforementioned Gogoro e-scooters.
“Electric two-wheelers powered by affordable, reliable, and accessible battery swapping solutions can positively impact delivery partner pay-outs, apart from reducing air pollution," Mohit Sardana, COO, Food Delivery at Zomato. "That’s why we’re excited to partner with Gogoro and Kotak on this endeavour."
Gogoro has homologated two of its e-scooters in India and you can read more about them here.
