Benelli has unveiled the 752S in production-ready form at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show. The Chinese-owned Italian brand is all set to take on the middleweight sport-naked segment with its new offering. The bike will enter a competitive space and take on the likes of the Ducati Monster, Triumph Street Triple and the Yamaha MT-07.
In terms of styling, the 752S is undoubtedly a sport-naked motorcycle. It has bare minimum bodywork and proudly puts its trellis frame on display. This frame accommodates a parallel-twin, 750cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor that makes 77hp and 67Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
Taking care of suspension is a fully adjustable Marzocchi, 50mm USD fork and a 45mm preload-adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by Brembo four-piston callipers with 320mm twin-discs at the front and a 250mm disc with a single-piston Brembo calliper at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is part of standard equipment.
One can find a full-colour TFT screen on the motorcycle, along with all-LED lighting. The Benelli 752S has a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 litres and seat height of 810mm. The 752S will be available in three colours – green, black and white and will go on sale in Europe next year. The motorcycle could even make its way to India sometime next year thanks to the recent Benelli-Mahavir Group tie-up.
