Ola electric bike teaser: what can be seen?
A couple of details can be made out from the teaser shared by Ola Electric, which is likely to be listed on August 9. The headlight is an LED unit that looks similar to the one in the S1 e-scooter range, but there are some differences. There is an LED strip at the top of the unit and two small vertical strips on either side of the two LED bulbs. This could open the door for Ola Electric to integrate the indicators into the headlight unit, with those two vertical strips serving as the turn signals.
Some other details that can be seen are that the Ola Electric bike will use a conventional right-side-up telescopic fork. We can also see that the ‘tank’ panels are located almost at the same level as the headlight. It remains to be seen what form factor the Ola electric bike takes. Last year, Ola Electric showcased some very futuristic concepts, but it seems like the upcoming electric bike will have more in common with the designs trademarked quite recently.
From the previous teaser shared by the company’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, we had learned that the e-bike has a chain final drive. To read more about what was shown then, tap HERE.
A lot of things remain under wraps for the Ola electric bike, and we will be bringing you the latest coverage on this front when it debuts on August 15. So, stay tuned.
