The company has said that the jacket line-up offers the freedom to ride in both, on- and off-road conditions. In addition to being fully CE certified, the jackets carry armour from D3O and KNOX. The armour also carries CE level one and level two certifications, depending on the jacket.
The riding jacket collection has been segregated based on different riding conditions – city or short rides, highway touring, and high-altitude or all-terrain range. Royal Enfield’s website also helps buyers select a jacket based on information like the weather conditions they intend to use it in. These jackets are also available on Amazon and select Central and Shoppers Stop outlets.
At Rs 14,950, the most expensive jacket, the Nirvik, comes equipped with D3O level two armour at the elbows and shoulders. Additionally, it also gets level one armour for the chest and the back.
