A few days ago, we reported that the updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 is launching on August 12 and now, we can exclusively share what will be new on it.

    1. Will now be available in 5 variants, all with LED headlight
    2. Display will have a gear position indicator
    3. Adjustable levers now standard on top 2 variants

Royal Enfield Classic 350 features details

The updated Classic 350 line-up will have five variants: Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and the top-spec Classic Chrome. Just as it is now, we expect the Classic 350 to have a rear drum brake on the lower variants to keep the entry point more affordable. Additionally, the Dark variant will remain the only one to come with alloy wheels and tubeless tires, with these wheels available as optional extras on the other four variants.

Regarding feature additions, the biggest, and perhaps, the most polarising change is the shift to LED lighting, which we had reported previously. All variants will now feature LED pilot lamps, headlights, and tail lamps. Additionally, the higher Dark and Chrome variants will come with LED indicators, while these remain an accessory on the other variants.

The Classic 350 Dark and Chrome variants will also come standard with adjustable levers, which will be an optional extra on the lower ones. What will be standard on all variants is the gear position indicator on the display - an addition that we have been asking for since this display debuted in the J-platform Classic 350 in 2021. All variants of the updated line-up will come standard with a USB-C charger.

The current Classic 350 range is priced from Rs 1.93 lakh to Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). It remains to be seen if prices will go up given the increasing competition to Royal Enfield’s bestselling bike.
