The TVS Motor Company has teased an image of the NTorq 125 facelift, showcasing its new LED headlamp. The new headlamp cluster also has an integrated, T-shaped LED DRL that follows a similar design to the T-shaped LED detailing on the tail-lamp that’s been present since the scooter was launched in 2018. While the current halogen headlamp offers decent throw and spread, we hope to see the new LED headlamp offer equal, if not better illumination. The image also reveals new graphics on either side of the headlamp and TVS might tweak the styling of the front apron as well.

The refreshed TVS Ntorq 125 could also feature a BS6-compliant engine, making it the second scooter in the market to be BS6-compliant after the recently launched Honda Activa 125 FI. However, the BS6 deadline is still six months away, so TVS may hold off for now, in an attempt to keep the price down. It will be interesting to see whether TVS manages to retain the carburettor or if the Ntorq will move to fuel injection.

The updates to the upcoming Ntorq 125 should strengthen the appeal of the scooter, which has been a runaway hit with consumers since its launch in 2018. Features such as a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, strong performance and good comfort have contributed to the scooter's success. We expect this update to come with a small price hike.
