New Suzuki Lets scooter first look review

The rear looks distinct, thanks to the sleek design cues and a stylish grab rail, followed by neatly integrated tail-light with side indicators that look fancy and this is further complemented by its slim exhaust system.

The Suzuki Let's will be available with five colour options - red, blue, white, black and silver. Overall, the Let's enjoys trademark Suzuki fit and finish which is remarkably good.

The company's latest scooter offering is powered by a four-stroke, 112.8cc, single-cylinder and forced air-cooled SOHC powerplant that adopts the 'Suzuki Eco Performance' system which the company claims will improve the overall fuel economy, without compromising on power. Peak power of 8.7bhp at 7500rpm, with maximum torque of 0.91kgm at 6500rpm is transferred to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox, and is at par with its 125cc siblings. As is essential for scooters, Let's provides the convenience of both an electric and a kick starter.

This new Suzuki is equipped with a telescopic front suspension followed by the engine doubling as a stressed member that links to the the monoshock rear suspension. The wide seat offers comfort for the rider and the pillion as well, with an upright riding position. The Let's runs on steel wheels comprising 90/100 x 10 inch tubeless tyres both up front and at the rear and gets 120mm drum brakes on both ends.

Let's is Suzuki's first 110cc scooter and it seems to have tonnes of potential. The prices have not been announced yet, but we expect it to be around Rs 43,000. We are also likely to see sound engineering, good ride and handling quality and the Let's does indeed, have a lot of Suzuki’s expectations riding on its back.
