Renault has launched the updated 2015 Duster in India with more features. While on the outside it only gets body coloured wing-mirrors and door handles, there are major equipment add-ons on the inside.
The Duster front-wheel drive line-up now comes with an arm rest for front row passengers, soft-touch dashboard and new upholstery for the seats. Also on offer is the new Eco-mode feature which according to Renault, delivers upto 10 percent higher fuel economy.
The 2015 Duster FWD also comes with a new instrument cluster, cruise control, new steering column and speed-sensitive door locks. There is also a new multi-information display on offer which has a gear-shift indicator and a service reminder feature. Some of these features were earlier offered on the more-expensive Renault Duster AWD.
Three engines are on offer - a 103bhp 1.6-litre petrol motor, and two 1.5-litre diesels, tuned to make 85bhp and 108.5bhp. The diesel engines of the 2015 Duster are now tuned for better fuel-efficiency, and deliver 19.64kpl for the 108.5bhp and 19.87kpl for the lower-spec diesel motor.
The updated 2015 Renault Duster front-wheel drive range starts at Rs 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Along with the 2015 Duster, Renault has also confirmed that it will launch the Lodgy MPV in India soon, and an all-new compact hatchback this year.
