The updated Skoda Superb has been has been launched in India priced at Rs 31.99 lakh for the Sportline and Rs 34.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the Laurin and Klement (L&K). The revised pricing makes the updated Superb between Rs 1.5 to 2 lakh dearer than the outgoing model.

2021 Skoda Superb: What’s new
A majority of the changes to the 2021 Superb are to the equipment list with the only notable cosmetic change being a new steering wheel – the L&K gets a two-spoke unit while the Sportline gets a 3-spoke, flat-bottom one.
Starting from the outside, a major inclusion to the equipment list are adaptive LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lamps. Moving to the cabin, the Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster is now standard – it was previously only available only on the Sportline, and the 8.0-inch Amundsen touchscreen infotainment system now runs an updated user interface and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Additionally, the cubby hole ahead of the gear lever now houses a wireless charging pad.
Moving to more variant specific kit, the fully-loaded Superb L&K now comes equipped with a 360 degree camera – as against a rear view camera – and a hands-free parking function.
2021 Skoda Superb engine
There is no change to the engine line-up on the updated Superb with the sole 190hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit carrying forward unchanged. As before, the unit is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Moving to the rivals, the Superb is a direct competitor to the Toyota Camry Hybrid which is priced at Rs 39.41 lakh.
Upcoming Skoda launches
Skoda has a few new launches lined up for 2021 including the re-introduction of the Kodiaq flagship SUV as a petrol-powered model. However, the brand’s most important launches this year are of its Kushaq mid-size SUV expected to arrive by the middle of the year and the all-new mid-size sedan due in late-2021. Also set to arrive this year is the all-new Octavia.
