Hyundai is offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1.50 lakh on models such as the Kona Electric, Grand i10 Nios, i20 and the Aura sedan for December 2022. These year-end benefits can be availed in the form of exchange bonuses, cash discounts and corporate benefits. CNG versions of the Aura sedan and Grand i10 Nios hatchback are also available with discounts this month.
Hyundai Kona Electric
Save up to Rs 1.50 lakh
Hyundai is offering maximum year-end benefits on the Kona Electric SUV, and customers can avail a flat cash discount of Rs 1.50 lakh, although there are no corporate benefits or exchange bonuses. The Kona Electric was Hyundai’s first EV for India, and rivals the likes of the MG ZS EV and the recently launched BYD-Atto 3. It features a 39kWh lithium-ion battery pack and produces 136hp and 395Nm. The EV can be charged from 0-80 percent in a claimed 57 minutes using a 50kW DC charger, and offers 452km of ARAI-certified range. A facelifted version of the Kona Electric is on its way to India soon.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
Save up to Rs 63,000
The Grand i10 Nios is available with two powertrain options – a 100hp, 1.0-litre, turbo petrol engine and an 83hp, 1.2-litre, petrol engine. The latter is also available in CNG-spec where it produces 69hp and is only offered with a 5-speed manual.
For December, Hyundai is offering a total discount of up to Rs 63,000 on the hatchback – cash discounts of Rs 50,000 (for the 1.0-litre version), Rs 10,000 worth exchange bonuses, and Rs 3,000 corporate discounts. For the CNG and 1.2-litre versions, Hyundai is offering cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. The Nios rivals the likes of Maruti Swift and Tata Tiago.
Hyundai Aura
Save up to Rs 43,000
The Aura is a compact sedan derivative of the Grand i10 Nios, and is available with the same powertrain options as the hatchback. This December, Hyundai is offering a total discount of up to Rs 43,000, which includes cash discounts of Rs 30,000 (CNG version), exchange bonuses worth Rs 10,000 (1.2-litre and CNG), and Rs 3,000 as corporate discount. Meanwhile, the two petrol versions of the sedan are listed with a cash discount of Rs 20,000. The Aura rivals other compact sedans like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze in the market.
Hyundai i20
Save up to Rs 30,000
Hyundai is offering a total discount of up to Rs 30,000 on both petrol and diesel versions of the i20. This includes Rs 20,000 as cash discounts and Rs 10,000 as exchange bonuses. However, the benefits are only being offered on the mid-spec Magna and Sportz trims of the hatchback. The i20 is available with an 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol, a 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Hyundai will pull the plug on the diesel i20 next year, so this is a great time to get one while it’s still available. The i20 rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz and the Toyota Glanza.
