Honda dealerships across the country are giving out lucrative discounts to boost sales for the month of June. Potential customers can benefit from discounts ranging from Rs 24,000 to Rs 1.15 lakh, depending on the model. The cars currently being offered with the benefits are the Brio, Amaze, Jazz, WR-V, City, Civic and the BR-V.

Here is a look at the benefits offered:

Honda BR-V

Save up to Rs 1.15 lakh
Honda’s seven-seater is offered with a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel and an 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine. While both engines are paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the petrol also gets the option of a CVT automatic. Dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 1.15 lakh on the Honda BR-V, which competes against MPVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Mahindra Marazzo

Honda City

Save up to Rs 62,000
The City has been a prominent name in the midsize sedan segment since its first-gen model had launched back in 1998. Priced between Rs 9.72-14.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Honda City competes against the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the Toyota Yaris. The City can be had with an 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual, while the petrol also gets the option of a CVT automatic. Dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 62,000 on the midsize sedan. Honda has also announced that they will upgrade the City with a speed warning and seat belt reminder alarm as standard, to comply with the new stringent safety norms.

Honda Jazz

Save up to Rs 55,000
The premium hatchback from Honda had received a mild upgrade in 2018. It competes against the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza. Though the 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre, 100hp diesel engine continued unchanged, the Jazz did receive some upgrades in its equipment. Gearbox options for the petrol include a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic, while the diesel comes with only a 6-speed manual. Benefits and discounts of up to Rs 55,000 are being offered by dealerships for the Honda Jazz.

Honda WR-V

Save up to Rs 45,000
The cross-hatchback is based on the Jazz and features flared wheel arches and a higher ground clearance. The WR-V and the Jazz share the same 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. However, it doesn’t get the CVT automatic gearbox and only comes with a 6-speed manual. Dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 45,000 on the Honda WR-V, which goes head-to-head with the Hyundai i20 Active.

Honda Amaze

Save up to Rs 42,000
Honda brought in the second-generation for its compact sedan last year and it garnered attention in this highly competitive segment where it rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Ford Aspire and Volkswagen Ameo. The Amaze gets a choice of either a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and both are available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. At present, dealerships are offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 42,000 on the Honda Amaze.

Honda Civic

Save up to Rs 30,000
Honda revived their premium sedan, the Civic, after a hiatus of almost seven years. Engine options powering the Civic are a 141hp, 1.8-litre petrol and a 120hp, 1.6-litre diesel. While the petrol Civic gets a 7-step CVT automatic as standard, the diesel only gets a 6-speed manual. Dealerships are offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 30,000 on the Honda Civic so that it can gain more ground against rivals like the Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra and the Toyota Corolla Altis.

Honda Brio

Save up to Rs 24,000
Honda has previously mentioned that they would discontinue the Brio in India as it won’t be practical to update it to conform to upcoming safety norms. The hatchback is only available with an 88hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine, which can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. It rivals the likes of the Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10. Dealerships are offering discounts of up to Rs 24,000 to clear stock of the Honda Brio before the deadline of the new safety norms.
