Ford has taken the wraps off the new Ka Urban Warrior sedan concept. The model will be showcased at the upcoming Sao Paulo International Motor Show 2018, which is scheduled to begin on November 6. The Ford Ka sedan sold in South America is essentially a lengthened version of the sub-4m Aspire sedan sold in India.
The Ford Ka Urban Warrior concept gets a flashy red exterior paint job, black inserts for the headlamps, and body cladding throughout its exterior. The car also gets a slightly raised ride height, which completes its crossover-sedan look. The model also gets faux skid plates at the front and back for added SUV-like credentials. Under the hood, the Ka Urban Warrior concept gets the same 1.5-litre petrol motor as the standard car sold in that market.
The Ford Ka Urban Warrior is essentially a sedan version of the Ford Freestyle sold in India. While the model is still in concept form, a production-spec sedan could create a new niche in the market.
