Japanese auto giant Honda is making quite the mark on the Indian market and the company is hardly resting easy. After introducing the Amaze saloon here -- which also saw the debut of the carmaker's made-for-India 1.5-litre diesel motor -- it's all set to reveal the next-generation City.
And now, according to sources, the carmaker will also bring its new Jazz hatchback and a Brio-based MPV, the Honda Mobilio, at the Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi.
The new Jazz is expected to be sold here with the option of the company's 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre EarthDreams diesel motor.
While sources say the Jazz will slot in between the Brio and the Amaze, the company will definitely make it more affordable than the last-gen car; the high price tag was one of the biggest problems with the earlier version.
The new Mobilio MPV will take on Maruti's Ertiga in the compact MPV space and will be offered with petrol and diesel engine options.
Honda has also unveiled a new range of VTEC engines, read more on that here.
