Regionally, the WR-V sold most in North India (30 percent), followed by West (28 percent), South (27 percent) and East India (15 percent).
The Japanese carmaker has recently launched a new mid-spec special edition of the model, named the Edge Edition, in order to push sales of the WR-V. Priced from Rs 7.78 lakh to Rs 9.00 lakh for the petrol model and from Rs 8.82 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh for the diesel, the crossover rivals the likes of the Hyundai i20 Active and Fiat Avventura.
