Hyundai has announced that it will launch the Elantra facelift in India on October 3, 2019. The updated sedan features heavily revised styling and, unlike the model it replaces, will only be offered with a BS6 petrol engine option, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox.
As per dealer sources, the updated Elantra will be available in a choice of three trim levels – S, SX and SX(O). Here’s a look at the features you can expect with each variant:

Building on the SX trim, the fully loaded Elantra will get:

- 10-way power adjust for driver’s seat
- Front seat ventilation
- Front parking sensors
- Leather upholstery
The Elantra facelift will rival the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and the Skoda Octavia.
