While all these SUVs get a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, the Punch’s unit has three cylinders instead of four like its rivals. In CNG mode, the badge-engineered siblings’ engine produces 78hp – making them the most powerful CNG SUVs in this comparison. The Punch CNG is the torquiest offering. All models have a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.

The Exter CNG and Punch CNG are the only SUVs in India with a dual-cylinder setup, which helps free up boot space. Conventional CNG cars have a single, larger cylinder.
