The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios range has grown with the addition of a new ‘Corporate Edition’ variant. Launched in 2019, the Grand i10 Nios has been raking in the numbers for Hyundai India, and to present buyers with a more attractive proposition as the festive season approaches, the company has rolled out a more feature-rich variant of the Nios, priced from Rs 6.11-7.19 lakh (ex-showroom). What’s unique about the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition?
So far, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has been available in four trim levels – Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The Corporate Edition is based on the Magna variant but brings a handful of extra features. Highlights of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition include a 6.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system (instead of the Magna’s 2-DIN audio system) with Apply CarPlay and Android Auto, electric-folding ORVMs with turn indicators, and 15-inch steel ‘gunmetal’ wheels styled to look like alloys.
Another unique – and timely – inclusion for the Corporate Edition is an air purifier with a HEPA filter (a feature not yet offered on any other variant of the Grand i10 Nios), anti-bacterial and anti-fungal fabric for the seats, and Corporate Edition insignias.
What are the powertrain options for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition?
Like the Magna, the Corporate Edition of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available with both, petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre, four-cylinder Kappa petrol unit makes 83hp and 114Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre, three-cylinder U2 diesel produces 75hp and 190Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard with both engines, but the Corporate Edition will also be available in petrol-AMT guise.
How much more does the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition cost?
Prices for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Corporate Edition start at Rs 6.11 lakh for the petrol-manual version, Rs 6.64 lakh for the petrol-AMT version and top out at Rs 7.19 lakh for the diesel-manual version (all prices, ex-showroom). Compared to the Magna variant it’s based on, the Corporate Edition – with all its added features – costs roughly Rs 19,000 more. To push sales of the Grand i10 Nios in the festive season, Hyundai is even offering benefits of up to Rs 35,000 on the hatchback.
