Nissan has been testing the India-spec Kicks SUV on Indian soil since a few days. Previous spy shots revealed that the car will look very similar to its international sibling.

A new set of spy shots on the internet have now revealed what the India-bound Kicks’ interior would look like. India will be one of the first markets where the Nissan Kicks will be sold in right-hand format – and it seems that Nissan plans to replicate the left-hand-drive model’s styling on the India-bound car.

The dashboard is quite similar to the models seen abroad, with a 7.0-inch touchscreen system that looks like a free-standing unit. The three-spoke steering wheel looks sporty and comes with various buttons for Bluetooth and audio controls.

The India-bound Kicks will also have more interior room thanks to a slightly longer wheelbase.

The model has an overall attractive styling with a ridge bonnet, chunky wheel arches and a raked windscreen. Under the hood, Nissan is expected to equip the Kicks with a 1.5-litre diesel K9K engine that puts out 110hp. Transmission will consist of a six-speed manual gearbox for the diesel and a five-speed manual for the 106hp, 1.5-litre petrol variant. A petrol-CVT variant (as seen on the Duster CVT) is also expected to join the line-up. The Kicks will rival the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki S-cross and Renault Captur.
