Lamborghini has launched the Huracan in India at Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The much-talked about supercar is the replacement for the legendary Gallardo.

On the styling front, it seems similar to the larger Aventador. The Huracan gets angular, sharp lines and massive air-intakes all in a bid to improve aerodynamics. The interior as is typical of Lamborghinis, mimics a jet. The instrument cluster is wide and there are lots of toggle switches for the driver to access.

It draws power from the same V10 unit that did duty in the Gallardo, albeit with some tweaks. Coupled with an all-new twin clutch gearbox, it makes 602bhp and 57.1kgm of torque in the all-wheel-drive Huracan. For India, it also comes with powered seats, carbon ceramic brakes and nose lift function as standard. The nose lift function allows the front to be raised by 40mm.

Built to be a more user-friendly model, Lamborghini expects sales of the Huracan to better that of the predecessor Gallardo. The supercar segment in India is a very tiny one and priced at a little less than three and a half crore, Lamborghini will look to provide a fulfilling ownership experience to attract prospective customers.
