Maruti Suzuki has introduced extended warranty plans for its entire range of cars including its premium Nexa models. All Maruti cars come with a standard 2-year/40,000km warranty, which can now be extended for a longer period/running, depending on the package chosen.
There are three extended warranty plans on offer:
- Gold: 3rd year* or 60,000km*
- Platinum: 3rd and 4th year* or 80,000km*
- Royal platinum: 3rd 4th and 5th year* or 1,00,000km*
The plans cover the replacement of parts, including the high-pressure pump, compressor, ECM, turbocharger assembly, select engine parts, the steering assembly and suspension struts. However, the parts that will not come under the warranty plans can be found here.
All three extended warranty plans will be available for the models sold through Maruti Suzuki Arena outlets, while it seems, according to the Nexa website, that the Gold plan will not be offered on Nexa models.
The Nexa models include the Baleno hatchback, Ciaz sedan, Ignis hatchback and S-cross crossover. Maruti’s remaining line-up is sold through the Arena outlets.
The respective websites have also been updated with the details of the new plans along with their prices.
The complete list of extended warranty prices for Maruti Suzuki Arena models can be found here, and for the Nexa models here.
