UPDATE: 2020 Hyundai Creta price, variants explained
Hyundai has launched the second-generation Creta in India at an introductory price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The all-new SUV, which made its India debut at Auto Expo 2020, is available in five engine-gearbox configurations and five trim levels for buyers to choose from. The variant-wise prices are below:

While deliveries for the all-new Creta will begin tomorrow (March 17) for bookings made earlier this month, the waiting period for bookings made now already stretch to eight weeks. Hyundai has revealed that it has received over 14,000 bookings for the all-new Creta (10,000 units had been booked within a week of bookings opening), with more than 50 percent of new Creta customers opting for the diesel versions.
As was known earlier, the new Creta shares its engine and gearbox options with the Kia Seltos. The three BS6-compliant engines on offer include a 115hp, 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox; a 115hp, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel unit that comes with 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearbox options; and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol mill that is available only with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The new Hyundai Creta comes loaded to the gills with features. Equipment on the top-spec SX (O) trim includes a large panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and tail-lights, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a Bose audio system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, leather ventilated front seats, electronic parking brake upholstery and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Hyundai India offers the Creta 2020 in a total of 10 colour options. Silver, white, red, blue, orange, black and grey are available across the range, though the Creta trubo-petrol gets three exclusive (and optional) colour options - white with a black roof, orange with a black roof and a dark green that Hyundai calls "Deep Forest".
Much like Hyundai’s Aura and i10 Nios Turbo variants, the top-spec Creta SX (O) with the turbo-petrol unit gets an all-black interior theme though with orange contrast detailing (instead of red) to up its sporty appeal. The rest of the range gets dual-tone black-and-beige upholstery as standard.
Like with the recently launched Hyundai Aura, the all-new Creta also comes with Hyundai's new optional Wonder Warranty plan - three years/1 lakh kilometres, four years/50,000km and five years/40,000km, all of which have a roadside assistance package bundled in for the same duration.
The first unit of the new Creta recently rolled off the production line just after from Hyundai’s Sriperumbudur plant in Tamil Nadu. In terms of rivals, the new Creta competes with the Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Renault Duster and Nissan Kicks.
