How do they stack up?
On the engine front, the all new Maruti Alto K10 makes as much power and torque as its rivals. In terms of dimensions, the Datsun Go sets the benchmark. When it comes to pricing, Maruti continues to have the upper hand. All of its trims considerably undercut the prices of the Eon 1.0 and the Spark. The Go is priced close, but in terms of the top-end, the new K10 undercuts the Go too by Rs 20,000. Maruti seems to have got the pricing spot-on and the new Alto K10 also seems capable enough purely in terms of specifications.
