Skoda is all set to debut its brand new Octavia vRS 230 at the Geneva motor show next month and from what we know, it will be one to look out for. This car uses a similar engine as the Octavia vRS – a 2.0 liter turbo-petrol – but difference in tuning sees the power bumped up to 227bhp. The carmaker claims a 0-100kph time of 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 250kph.
The new vRS 230 will also sport a more aggressive body kit than the standard vRS along with a bespoke interior and an electronic differential that Skoda plans to standardise in this variant – a first ever for the manufacturer.
The vRS 230 is expected to go on sale internationally in June in both hatchback and estate forms and will slot in above the current Octavia vRS.
