Honda has teased the upcoming Accord with a new sketch of the car ahead of its debut on July 14. The sketch reveals an angular design with a prominent band of chrome stretching across the front fascia, prominent air vents on the bumper, LED lights, along with prominent creases along the side and bonnet.
The big change to the new-gen car though is the discontinuation of the V6 petrol engine. Earlier, Honda had revealed mechanical details of the new Accord which stated that the automaker was set to offer the car with a choice of turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines, including the 2.0-litre turbo from the Civic Type R. The manufacturer also said that a hybrid model would be offered with an updated hybrid system.
While the all-new model is expected to go on sale internationally by the end of the year, it is uncertain when Honda will launch its new Accord in India having launched the current Accord only last year.
