Nissan has announced that it will increase prices of its new cars and SUVs by 2 percent. The hike is applicable to Datsun models as well. To come into effect on April 1, 2018, the company has attributed the hike to rising input costs.
Jerome Saigot, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “Due to rising input costs, we will be increasing the price of our Nissan and Datsun cars with effect from April 1, 2018. We are confident that our cars will continue to offer excellent value and choice to our customers.”
In India, Nissan sells the Micra, Micra Active hatchbacks, the Sunny sedan and the Terrano SUV, while its budget brand Datsun sells the Go and Redigo hatchbacks, and the Go+ MPV.
