Following the launch of its small car Micra, Nissan India has charted out its expansion plans. The company is planning to ramp up its dealership network in the country with host of new after sales services on offer.
In order to achieve maximum customer outreach, Nissan India has been aggressively ramping up its dealership network across the country. The company has added 5 new dealers to take the count to 15 dealerships country-wide. Cities to get new Nissan dealerships are Gurgaon, Surat, Ludiana, Calicut and Jalandhar. By the end of this fiscal year, the company plans to have more than 30 operational dealerships.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD & CEO, Nissan India said, “We have been aggressively ramping up our dealership network across the country. The opening up of these five new dealerships is in line with our constant endeavour to increase our footprint and to provide total customer satisfaction with high-quality service standards.”
In order to improve customer service, Nissan has also launched new after sales programme that includes Road Side Assistance and Extended warranty schemes. The road side assistance programme is aimed at providing round the clock assistance for all Nissan vehicles sold in India. The program covers customers against all types of unforeseen incidents, battery jumpstarts, tyre assistance, providing fuel incase the vehicle runs out of fuel, retrieving spare keys, and towing of immobilized vehicles to the nearest Nissan dealership/workshop. The extended warranty scheme is valid for 80,000km or 2 years, which will be up and above manufacturer’s warranty.
