Nissan has launched the Kicks at a starting price of Rs 9.55 lakh; gets four variants and two engine options.

Nissan India has launched its Kicks SUV at a starting price of Rs 9.55 lakh for the base XL petrol variant and Rs 10.85 lakh for the entry-level diesel trim. The top-spec Kicks petrol costs Rs 10.95 lakh while the diesel tops the range at Rs 14.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  The all-new SUV from Nissan is available with either a 1.5-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine, both of which are mated to manual transmissions (5-speed for the petrol and 6-speed for the diesel). The company has introduced the SUV in four variants (two for the petrol and four for the diesel) and going by the features list, even lower trims are decently equipped. While the lower variants seem to offer a good value-for-money proposition considering the kit they possess, the higher-spec variants seem to be at par with rivals in terms of price and equipment.
