Nissan has unveiled two new versions of the Magnite, its only product in India – the Magnite EZ-Shift and the Magnite Kuro edition. The former sees the addition of the automated manual transmission (AMT) to the standard 1.0-litre petrol engine, while the latter is essentially a Black edition for the Magnite.

Nissan Magnite Kuro edition: what it gets

The Magnite Kuro gets an all-black treatment inside and out. The exterior of the Kuro edition gets a blacked finish on the grille, grille surrounds, skid plate, roof rails, door handles, alloy wheels and the accents in the headlights. The only non-black items on the exterior are the ‘Nissan’ and ‘Magnite’ badges as well as the red brake calipers.

Nissan mentions that the Magnite will be the official car of the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, with the Kuro edition reportedly slated for an October 7 launch to commemorate this. The Magnite Kuro edition will be available with the 72hp, 96Nm, 1.0-litre petrol engine and the 100hp, 160Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. It will get all gearbox options offered on the Magnite.
