Renault has launched the Urban Night limited editions for the Kiger, Kwid and Triber. This special edition will be limited to just 300 units for each model, all of which get a new black colour and some new features.
Renault Urban Night edition: what’s new?
The Urban Night edition of the Kiger, Kwid and Triber get a black exterior colour with silver accents on the front and rear bumper, boot lid, and doors. They also get an illuminated scuff plate and a puddle lamp. However, the feature highlight of the Kiger and Triber Urban Night versions is a camera-based 9.66-inch inside rear view mirror (IRVM); a feature seen on models from a few segments above.
Renault Kiger, Kwid, Triber remain mechanically unchanged
The Kiger gets a 72hp, 96Nm, 1.0-litre petrol engine and a 100hp, 152Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, but while the petrol gets an AMT, the turbo-petrol gets a CVT.
The Kwid and Triber also get a 1.0-litre petrol engine, but the former produces 68hp and 91Nm and the latter 72hp, 96Nm. Both get 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
Renault Kiger, Kwid, Triber price and rivals
The Kiger Urban Night edition is priced between Rs 8.95 lakh-11.15 lakh, while the Triber Urban Night edition costs between Rs 8.37 lakh-8.89 lakh. The Kwid Urban Night edition's prices range from Rs 5.94 lakh-6.39 lakh.
The Kiger (Rs 6.33 lakh-8.97 lakh) rivals the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis. The Kwid (Rs 4.69 lakh-6.32 lakh) competes solely with the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, while the Triber (Rs 6.33 lakh-8.97 lakh) has no direct rivals.
