Rolls-Royce is set to bring the new Ghost Black Badge to India in the coming months. Revealed in October last year, the Ghost Black Badge gets re-tuned mechanicals to offer improved driving dynamics, along with darker styling elements.

The second-gen Ghost Black Badge’s launch was confirmed by Sangwook Lee, regional sales manager – Asia Pacific for Rolls-Royce. While commenting on the manufacturer’s performance in the Indian market, Lee said that Rolls-Royce was “seeing positive signs of a rebound with increasing customer interest."
He went on to add, “We look forward to launching Black Badge Ghost shortly."
Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge: how is it different from the standard Ghost?
Starting with the styling, like the Black Badge of the first-gen model, the new Ghost Black Badge features darkened cosmetic elements – such as the chrome grille and Spirit of Ecstasy – and sits on bespoke 21-inch composite wheels. Rolls Royce says clients can select from up to 44,000 ‘ready-to-wear’ exterior colours for the luxury sedan or opt to create a bespoke hue altogether.
Inside, the cabin gets darker finished trimmings and wood veneers around the cabin.
Moving to the mechanicals, the Ghost Black Badge gets a more powerful 6.75-litre V12 than the standard Ghost. Power and torque are bumped up to 600hp and 900Nm over the standard Ghost’s 571hp and 850Nm. The unit also gets a bespoke throttle map, while elements such as the suspension, all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering have been re-tuned to improve driving dynamics and reduce body-roll under hard cornering.
Additionally, the Black Badge gets a new ‘Low’ drive mode that sharpens up driving functions, including the gearshifts from the 8-speed automatic gearbox and tweaks to the exhaust note.
Rolls Royce Ghost Black Badge: expected price
At its debut in 2020, the second-gen Ghost was priced from Rs 6.95 crore (ex-showroom). Expect Rolls-Royce to price the Black Badge at a premium over the standard model.
