Skoda has released a first set of images and details of its upcoming Karoq Scout SUV, which will see a public debut at the upcoming Paris Motor show 2018.
The Karoq Scout gets four-wheel drive as standard. In line with other Scout models (like the Kodiaq Scout sold abroad), the car will also get a hardy styling and additional equipment over the standard car.
The SUV will have three engine options on offer — a 150hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel motor that puts out either 150hp or 190hp. The lower-powered diesel mill is the only one which will have a manual gearbox as an option.
On the outside, the Karoq Scout is marked out by a metallic rear bumper, scuff plates and sump guard. The model gets 18-inch wheels as standard, with 19-inch alloy wheels an option, in addition to exclusive badging and tinted windows.
The interior also has an exclusive touch; the seat upholstery gets bespoke Scout badging and brown highlights to illustrate that it's a more all-terrain variant. It features the Virtual Cockpit digital dials set-up as standard, as well as in-car Wi-Fi.
Skoda is expected to bring the standard Karoq SUV to India sometime next year. Read our review of the 2018 Skoda Karoq here.
