Among other things, one feature many prospective customers have said would make the Tata Harrier a sweeter deal is the inclusion of a sunroof. The sunroof has quickly become a fan-favourite across passenger vehicle segments in India, and in the segment the Harrier operates in, it is a must-have feature. Now, Tata is offering a sunroof for the Harrier as an official accessory at a price of Rs 95,100, plus installation charges.
Available as part of the Tata Motors Genuine Accessories line-up, the Harrier Electric Sunroof H-300 is manufactured by Webasto, and existing customers can also have it fitted by visiting their nearest Tata Motors dealership. The sunroof comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of installation, and will certainly add to the feeling of airiness inside the Harrier’s roomy cabin.
As competition in the midsize SUV segment intensifies, Tata Motors is aiming to keep the Harrier in the conversation, and is also readying an all-black ‘Dark Edition’ version of the Harrier, which is set to be launched in the coming days.
Launched in January 2019, the Tata Harrier has found over 10,000 buyers so far, and is also set to get some substantial updates in the months to come. It’ll soon receive a BS6-compliant diesel engine, an automatic variant is in the works and the seven-seat version of the Harrier – showcased as the ‘Buzzard’ at the 2019 Geneva motor show – is also due to launch in the coming months.
