Tata’s EVs continue to get significant discounts and benefits during the month of April. The Nexon EV has up to Rs 50,000 off, while the Tiago EV gets up to Rs 65,000 in benefits – interestingly, the electric compact SUV and hatchback were offered with the same level of discounts during the previous month. While the maximum benefits are offered on MY2023 models, MY2024 models of the Tiago EV also get some discounts this month.

Tata Nexon EV discounts April 2024
Tata dealerships will offer buyers of MY2023 Nexon EVs (made after the facelift launched in September) Rs 50,000 as a ‘green bonus’, which is essentially a direct cash discount. This is valid on all variants of the Nexon EV made between September and December 2023. However, none of the MY2024 Nexon EVs have any discounts this month.
Tata offers the Nexon EV in two variants – MR with a 30.2kWh battery and 325km of ARAI range, and LR with a 40.5kWh battery and 465km of range. Both versions get a 7.2kW AC charger as standard, which takes the MR’s battery from 10 to 100 percent in 4.3 hours; the LR’s battery does the same in 6 hours. The Nexon EV MR gets an electric motor putting out 129hp and 215Nm of torque, while the LR gets a 145hp and 215Nm motor. The Nexon EV is priced from Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 19.29 lakh, and competes with the Mahindra XUV400, among other similarly priced electric SUVs.
Tata Tiago EV discounts April 2024
As it was last month, buyers of MY2023 Tata Tiago EV will be able to avail up to Rs 65,000 in discounts, including a Rs 50,000 ‘green bonus’ and an exchange offer of up to Rs 15,000. However, on MY2024 stock, Tata dealers are offering up to Rs 35,000 in discounts (Rs 20,000 green bonus) on Tiago EV LR variants, while the two MR trims – XE and XT – have benefits of up to Rs 20,000 (Rs 10,000 green bonus) during this month.
Tata’s Tiago EV is available in Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) form. The former gets a 19.2kWh battery with 250km of MIDC range, and a 61hp motor. The latter is powered by a 24kWh battery with 315km of range, and a 74hp motor. The Tiago EV retails from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.89 lakh, and rivals the MG Comet EV.
