After the recent launch of special Jet Editions for its Nexon, Harrier and Safari SUVs, Tata Motors is now getting ready to launch the Punch Camo Edition on September 22. The Tata Punch Camo Edition will be sold alongside the standard Punch and the Punch Kaziranga Edition that went on sale in February this year.
- Camo edition is the second special edition on Punch after Kaziranga
- Expected to get cosmetic updates similar to Harrier Camo Edition
Punch Camo Edition: Camo Green colour, gloss black alloys
Tata Motors earlier used to sell Camo editions of the Harrier, but it was shortlived due to limited availability. The Camo Edition now makes a comeback on the Punch which was launched in October last year.
Not much about the Tata Punch Camo Edition is seen in a new teaser video, except for the name "Camo" on the front fenders.
In terms of styling, the most noticeable change is likely going to be the new Camo Green paint shade, which will make this special edition of Punch stand out. Depending on the variant, the alloy wheels will likely be finished in gloss black. We can also expect most of the chrome highlights on the Punch Camo Edition to be blacked out. Similar to the Harrier Camo and other special editions, there could be accessory packs on offer on the Punch Camo Edition which would help the owners customise their car as per their taste.
Punch Camo Edition: interior updates
On the inside, expect the Punch Camo Edition to have a darker theme with black seating surfaces and contrast Camo green elements similar to the Harrier Camo. The feature list may not see any major update, and the Camo Edition could be offered in more than one variant of Punch for a wider appeal.
Punch Camo Edition: to remain mechanically unchanged
Expect no change on the mechanical side. The Punch comes with the 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a five-speed manual or an AMT. This powertrain option will be seen on the Punch Camo Edition as well.
More details about the Punch Camo Editions feature list, delivery details and pricing will be announced on September 22, 2022.
