Bookings for the upcoming Tata Punch EV are currently underway and dealer sources tell us that the EV's deliveries will begin in January end. The price announcement for Tata's smallest EV SUV has taken place – Punch EV introductory prices start at Rs 10.99 lakh and go up to Rs 14.49 lakh, ex-showroom, India. Tata will charge Rs 50,000 more for a 72kWh charger (only for the Long Range version) and Rs 50,000 more for a sunroof (only for the higher 3 trims).

Tata Punch EV higher variants in demand
The Punch EV will be available in four variants – Smart, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered+; our sources tell us that most customers are opting for the top two variants. The Punch EV gets a long features list and the top-spec variants boast of rear disc brakes, leatherette seats, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot monitor, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment by Harman. As we've reported earlier, the Punch EV will have a 25kWh battery option with an estimated MIDC range of 315km and a 35kWh with a claimed range of 421km. More details will emerge tomorrow when Punch EV prices are revealed.
