Toyota Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition: what’s new?
The exterior updates are actually quite minimal – there’s a new chrome garnish on the grille that runs through the centre and the front and rear bumpers get new faux silver skid plates. One will have to pay an additional Rs 9,500 for the Platinum White exterior paint shade. Being based on the lower-tier GX trim, however, it misses out on the bumper garnishes and larger alloy wheels available on the higher trims.
The updates are more substantial on the inside – it gets a new soft-touch, chestnut brown finish (standard on the more expensive VX trim) for the dashboard and door trims which are finished in black plastic in the regular GX trim. There’s also a new faux wood trim around the window controls, while the fabric seat covers get a new dual-tone black and brown finish. The GX limited Edition variant is available in both 7-seater and 8-seater configurations.

Toyota Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition powertrain
Like the trim it's based on, the GX Limited Edition is only available with the 2.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine and does not get the more fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain. It's mated to a CVT gearbox and produces 172hp and 205Nm of torque.
With the Hycross GX Limited Edition, Toyota is aiming to make the less popular non-hybrid variant more appealing to buyers who are looking to buy the MPV during this period. Sources tell us that the Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition will be available only till December or while stocks last.
