The benefits come in form of a flat Rs 3 lakh discount on the Volvo XC40, as well as complimentary accessories worth Rs 1 lakh. Launched at Rs 39.90 lakh in a single R-Design trim, the Volvo XC40 petrol is now priced at Rs 36.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Do note, this is only a limited-period offer.
What’s powering the Volvo XC40?
The Volvo XC40 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that puts out 190hp and 300Nm of torque. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox which sends power to the front wheels only. The car was originally launched with a diesel engine, but that was discontinued with the introduction of the petrol version.
What features do you get in the Volvo XC40?
The fully-loaded Volvo XC40 R-Design gets features like a panoramic sunroof, a 9.0-inch portrait-oriented infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, wireless charging, dual-zone auto climate control, hands-free parking, diamond-cut alloy wheels and a powered tailgate come as standard.
