As 2018 is coming to an end, carmakers are rushing to clear out inventory to make space for next year’s models. Maruti Suzuki is also offering its customers attractive discounts and benefits on its entire range of cars at its Arena showrooms. If you’re considering buying a new Maruti Suzuki, here’s how much you can save on your car:
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800
Save up to Rs 75,100
The popular hatchback is being offered with a discount of Rs 55,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. The model has been on sale since 2012, but got some updates in 2016 in the form of new headlights, bumpers and some interior updates, though this happened a while back. The optional CNG variant is also offered with the same discount amount. A rival to the 800cc versions of the Renault Kwid and Datsun Redigo, it comes with a 48hp (41hp on CNG), 0.8-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio AMT
Save up to Rs 95,100
The Celerio, even with the AMT, boasts of best in class mileage and is a good urban runabout, with the automatic variants adding to its convenience factor. The AMT variants are now being offered with a discount of Rs 70,100, along with Rs 25,000 as an exchange bonus. The Celerio sees competition from Hyundai’s Santro, the Datsun Go and the Tata Tiago.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
Save up to Rs 70,100
Maruti launched the third-generation of its popular hatchback on February 8, 2018. It is now bigger and lighter than the previous model and gets far more features. Automated manual gearboxes add convenience to an already nice package, which can also comes with customisation options that can help it stand out in a crowd of hatchbacks. The 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol version gets a discount of Rs 40,100 with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 while the 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel variant gets a discount of Rs 50,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Save up to Rs 90,100
Maruti’s compact sedan can always be found on the list of most cars sold every month, keeping ahead of comparatively newer rivals like the Ford Aspire facelift and second-gen Honda Amaze. It can now be yours with a discount of Rs 45,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000 for the petrol variant and a discount amount of Rs 60,100 with an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 for the diesel variant. The Dzire shares its engines and 5-speed manual and AMT options with the Swift.
Maruti Suzuki Omni
Save up to Rs 65,100
The aging Omni van is up for grabs at a discount amount of Rs 50,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. While newer rivals have made this people carrier less desirable, it still attracts buyers due to its low running costs and efficient engine.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco
Save up to Rs 30,100
The Eeco was launched to replace the old Versa, as a smaller, more affordable alternative to its own Ertiga. It is reasonably roomy on the inside and cheap to run. The Eeco, which is powered by a 73hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine, be now had with a discount of Rs 20,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
Save up to Rs 95,100
Maruti Suzuki is expected to bring the current Wagon R’s replacement to India very soon. The new Wagon R will retain the current one’s tall-boy design, albeit with a rounder look, and is expected with the same 1.0-litre petrol mill. The current model is being offered with a discount of Rs 70,100 and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Save up to Rs 30,000
The Vitara Brezza was Maruti Suzuki’s long-awaited compact SUV, rivalling the likes of the Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. The model is practical, spacious, well-equipped and is reasonably good to drive. This popular model is now being offered with a discount of Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.
