Fiat has unveiled a new Fastback SUV concept at the Sao Paulo motor show 2018. It points at a future production model from Fiat that will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Nissan Kicks in some international markets.

The SUV features a stylish coupé-like profile and is finished in metallic silver paint finish. The model features the latest-gen Fiat grille design that resembles the one seen on the Toro Pickup.  It also gets dual-chamber LED headlamps and wide wraparound LED tail-lamps. The concept comes with a high beltline with a sharp kink just aft of the B-pillar. At the back, the Fastback SUV gets a chunky rear bumper, with a dual-stage design and wide reflectors at the bottom.

Fiat has not revealed any details about the concept’s interior, engine or platform. It is being speculated that this new concept is based on similar underpinnings as the Jeep Renegade and Compass, and will spawn a future SUV that will take on the likes of the Nissan Kicks and the Hyundai Creta.

Additionally, the refreshed Toro pickup sold in South America will also get styling cues in the future that are similar to this concept.
