Honda has unveiled the Concept D SUV at the Shanghai motor show. The concept, jointly developed by Honda’s two Chinese subsidiaries — Guangqi Honda Automobile and Dongfeng Honda Automobile — is the precursor to an all-new top-end SUV targeted exclusively at the Chinese market.
On the outside, the Concept D gets a coupé-like roofline with a heavily raked rear windscreen and a roof-mounted spoiler. At the front, the car gets a prominent bumper with large triangular air vents and daytime running lights along with LED headlights. At the back, the rear bumper also gets large triangular air vents, elongated C-shaped tail lamps and a faux diffuser. On the sides, the car gets slim streamlined wing mirrors, sharp creases and bespoke dual-tone alloy wheels.
Honda has, however, not revealed any information regarding the engine options of the concept or the production model to come, and the interior.
