Land Rover India has launched its new long wheelbase Range Rover SUV in India. The SUV maker has also launched its 2014 Evoque SUV with a nine-speed automatic gearbox and its updated Land Rover Discovery SUV.

The Range Rover Long Wheelbase, as the name suggests, comes with a wheelbase that’s stretched by 186mm compared to the standard car. There is, of course, more legroom, rear seats that recline 17-degrees (as against the 8-degree lean on the standard car), 10.2-inch screens at the rear, and it even comes with deployable tables.  Three engine options are on offer, a standard variant with a 3.0-litre diesel engine, priced at Rs 2.08 crore, a 4.4-litre diesel variant that comes in two trims - the LWB Vogue SE, priced at Rs 2.44 crore and a top-end diesel Autobiography trim that costs Rs 2.63 crore. The stonking 5.0-litre petrol supercharged V8 version is only available in a single Autobiography trim, priced at Rs 2.75 crore.

The 2014 Evoque now comes with a nine-speed ZF-sourced automatic gearbox. The 2014 Range Rover Evoque is available in three trims. The base Pure variant costs Rs 59.3 lakh, while the mid-spec Dynamic costs Rs 68 lakh and the top Prestige trim is priced at Rs 68.95 lakh. Land Rover has discontinued the Evoque petrol in India though.

The updated Discovery comes with a new front grille, front bumper and front headlight design, new LED daytime running lights and new alloy wheels. The 2014 Discovery is available in two trims and one engine option, the 3.0-litre diesel SE, priced at Rs 1.08 crore and the top-spec 3.0-litre diesel HSE variant, priced at Rs 1.14 crore.
