As we had reported earlier, Ford has been working on its new Endeavour, and the production version of the SUV is expected be unveiled around November 14, 2014.  This 2015 Endeavour will be launched in India sometime next year.

For the exterior, the new Endeavour will get a mix of chunky and modern styling with its facia dominated by an EcoSport-like chrome heavy trapezoidal grille, chrome ORVMs and big wheel arches. While some of these features might look similar to the ones on the outgoing model, they will be tweaked to make the SUV look more planted. Under the skin, Ford plans on using the same body-on-frame build with a seven-seat layout on the Endeavour, and it will get a 2.2-litre and 3.0-litre diesel engine with two and four wheel drive configurations.

The new insides will be similar to those of the Ranger too. Ford has used a chunky four spoke steering wheel that looks similar to that on the new Ford EcoSport. The new model should come with Ford's sync system, and the Endeavour's two- and four-wheel drive system will be controlled by a button on the dash.

Ford India is currently riding high on the success of the Ecosport; its big SUV Endeavour has not been able to hold its own against rivals like the Toyota Fortuner. Still, Ford isn't giving up on large SUVs, and plans to get the new Endy here towards the end of 2015.
