The updated Range Rover and Range Rover Sport expected in the international market by 2015 will get cosmetic changes. The updated models will get new alloy wheel designs, increased personalisation features, new convenience options and a new ‘InControl’ feature that connects your car to your smartphone, which will sync it to apps and track the car if stolen.

Both models get a tweaked SDV8 engine with peak torque increased from 71.3kgm to 75.5kgm, which is now available over a wider band of 1700-3300rpm. The eight-speed automatic gearbox is also revised.

Deliveries for the ‘Autobiography Black’ trim that was first revealed at the 2013 LA motor show are expected to start in the international market in August this year. The Autobiography Black Range Rovers will only be available in long-wheelbase form, and will get lots of luxurious features, including two individual rear sears and a semi-aniline leather interior. Exterior details include new black and chrome exterior trim, LED tail lights, and unique 21- and 22-inch alloy wheels.
