Tata Bolt: What you get with each variant

The Tata Bolt has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base petrol car. Available in both petrol and diesel guise, the Bolt has four trims – XE, XM, XMS and the top-of-the-line XT.

The base XE trim (petrol: Rs 4.44 lakh, diesel: Rs 5.49 lakh) gets features like power steering with tilt adjust, AC with heating function, remote fuel lid and tailgate opening, adjustable front headrests, rear-door child lock and gear indicators.

Additionally, the XM trim (petrol: Rs 5.15 lakh, diesel: Rs 6.11 lakh) comes with the Harman-developed infotainment system which gets Bluetooth, USB and aux-in compatibility, four speakers and four tweeters and steering-mounted controls. It also gets adjustable rear headrests, power windows, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, remote central locking, speed-sensing door locks, ABS and front fog lamps.

Over and above this, the XMS (petrol: Rs 5.40 lakh, diesel: Rs 6.34 lakh) will get you height adjustability for the driver’s seat, pre-tentioners and load limiters for front seatbelts and the much-needed dual front airbags.

The top XT trim (petrol: Rs 6.05 lakh, diesel: Rs 6.99 lakh) comes loaded to the teeth. Other than the goodies that have already been mentioned, it also gets a touchscreen on the infotainment system; here, it can be used to operate the climate control, has smartphone-enabled navigation and voice command recognition. There’s also video playback available via SD card. Other features exclusive to this trim include automatic climate control, boot lamp, rear fog lamps, rear defogger and rear wiper and washer.

As for fitments on the outside, projector lamps and alloy wheels are only available on the top XT trim.
